Lori, an innovative educator with over 20 years of experience in the teaching field, offers her expertise to all students preschool through 12th grade. Lori uses her creativity and natural ability to connect with her students, to give them the tools needed to become lifelong learners. She identifies the specific reading, writing, or executive functioning skills to be targeted and builds individualized plans to strengthen each area.  Lori graduated from The American University with a degree in Communications, Law, Economics & Government.  She worked at NICKELODEON before obtaining her Master's degree in Education and her Certification of Teacher of Students With Learning Disabilities. Lori is certified in Wilson reading. She has taught both special education and general education in grades k-12.
